Who we are

FitMyMachine is published by Anvil Road LLC. You can reach us at support@fitmymachine.com.

What we collect

We use analytics to understand which pages people read and which links they follow. That tells us which machines to research next. It records things like the page you were on, the machine or category you were looking at, and which seller you clicked through to.

We do not ask you for an account, and we do not require you to give us a name, an address or a phone number to use the site.

Your saved equipment stays in your browser

The My Equipment list is stored in your own browser using local storage. It is not sent to us and we have no copy of it. It does not follow you to another device, and clearing your browser data removes it.

Cookies and similar technology

Analytics uses cookies or similar storage to tell one visit from another. Affiliate programmes also set cookies when you follow a link to a seller, which is how that seller knows the visit came from us.

Those affiliate cookies are set by the seller or their network, not by us, and they are governed by that company's own privacy policy.

When you leave for a seller

Once you click through to Amazon, eBay or any other seller, you are on their site and their privacy policy applies. We do not see what you look at there, what you put in a basket, or what you buy. We only see that a click left our page.

Third parties we use

We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager for measurement, and affiliate networks for the commission links described in our affiliate disclosure. Each of those companies handles data under its own policy.

Children

This site is aimed at people who own and operate machinery. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings. You can clear your saved equipment by clearing site data or by removing each machine on the My Equipment page.

If you want to ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete something, write to support@fitmymachine.com.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
