Somewhere to put a drink
This is always first, and it is always because the factory holder is too shallow. It is also the cheapest thing on the list, so it is a good place to learn your roll-bar measurements before you spend real money.
Somewhere to put a phone
Second, and for the same reason: there is nowhere sensible to put one. Look for vibration isolation, not just a strong clamp.
Somewhere to put the small stuff
Gloves, a phone charger, pins, a shear bolt, the manual. A small box or pouch on the fender stops all of it living in the footwell. Keep it off any overhead surface.
Light, once you start working past dark
Auxiliary work lights change what you can do in autumn and winter. Check what your machine can feed before you buy, and route the wiring where nothing pinches it.
Shade, if you work in it all summer
A canopy is the biggest comfort change on this list and the one most sensitive to getting the measurements right. Read the canopy guide first.
